Trey Reid's Bio -
Trey Reid is the assistant chief of communications for the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. His primary role is executive producer of Arkansas Wildlife, the official AGFC television show that airs on KARK Channel 4 and KARZ Channel 42 in the Little Rock television market. The show explores the many outdoor recreational opportunities in the Natural State and also exposes viewers to the AGFC's behind-the-scenes conservation work. Trey also represents the commission in television and radio appearances and other speaking engagements, promoting AGFC activies, as well as hunting, fishing and wildlife-viewing opportunities.
Prior to joining the AGFC 12 years ago, Trey was a field reporter for ESPN on "BassCenter", a SportsCenter-like news and entertainment program focused on professional bass fishing and conservation issues. His travels for ESPN took him everywhere from post Hurricane Katrina New Orleans to bass fishing in Manhattan's Central Park. Although he has worked in television and radio for more than a decade, Trey's media roots are in print journalism. He was the outdoor editor for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette from 2001-2005 and worked as a sports reporter for the Dem-Gaz for two years prior to that. Although he's probably most known these days as the host of Arkansas Wildlife and a spokesman for the Game & Fish Commission, he continues to work as a freelance writer in his spare time, with work appearing regularly in publications including Bassmaster magazine, Arkansas Wild and Bassmaster.com.
